I am Debra Smutny. Growing up camping, my love of the mountains was instilled at an early age. As a parent of two children, I wanted to pass on this same appreciation and love of nature. Over the past 30 years, my husband and I have visited and vacationed in Lake Tahoe, always with the glimmer of hope that one day we would own our piece of paradise. A place for family, a place for memories, a place to breathe, to explore, and to feel connected to nature. I am humbled and grateful that this dream became a reality, and it has changed our lives for the better in so many ways.
